The social network is a social structure in which a group of people be interrelate. Social networks are sites that enable people to connect with friends and even make new friends, to share content, building communities of similar interests: work, readings, games, friendship, romantic relationships, etc..

Social networks are more common: Hi5, MySpace, Facebook, Tuenti, Twitter and Orkut.

The advantages:

- Sustain participation and collaborative work between people.
- Allow you to construct a personal identity.
- Facilitate links between people, avoiding any kind of both cultural and physical barriers.
- Facilitate the obtaining of the required information at any time, because instant updating.

Disadvantages:

- Security is one of the greatest downside because it is not any control to users, and these may be minors.
- By using social networks is fairly common to request the creation of the profile. In some cases you can lie, but the truth is that the end of the social networks of friends.
- And last addiction, how many hours you spend connected to a social network? How long ago did not stay for coffee?
